You never know when a PR opportunity is going to come your way. That’s why PR requires being prepared. You may not have time to get ready. You need to be ready.

Once You Lose an Opportunity, It’s Gone

PR relies a lot on being topical and timely. That means once the opportunity’s gone, it’s gone. It’s not coming back.

There are seasonal opportunities, but it’s tough competing with everyone else who wants a shot at those opportunities. You need to find a way to stand out, and that means tying your PR pitch into a trending topic that’s relevant for you.

That gives you a limited amount of time to win a host over and be chosen for their segment. Once the time for that topic is done and the season’s over, you’re back to scratch.

Our First Step: A PR Preparedness Check Up

We know companies that will take your money whether you’re prepared for a PR campaign or not. Then, they’ll cash your checks knowing you’re not going to get anything for the money.

That’s not how we handle things at Down To Earth PR. During our intake interview, we will make sure that you are ready for prime time. We offer a free, comprehensive PR Preparedness checklist that you can use before you get in touch with us that will go over what you need to be sure you’re ready.

If you’re concerned that you might not be ready, hire us for a PR Evaluation. We’ll go through everything you’ve got and give you advice on how effective we believe it will be at attracting the kind of media attention you desire.

Our Second Step: Our PR Preparedness Course

We believe that educated clients make the best clients. That’s why we offer a course that will cover the basics you need to know in order to get the most out of a PR Campaign. That course will go over the differences between PR, promotion, and marketing. It will also give you tips for how to be the kind of guest that show hosts adore and love to invite back again and again.

You can take the course online at your own pace, in a live event, or over a period of 7 weeks. The choice is up to you.

Our Third Step: Our PR Strategy Consultation

Once you know what to expect and are prepared for PR opportunities we will send your way, it’s time for a strategy consultation. We’ll help you put together a plan that makes sense for you and a timeframe that fits your desired outcome.

You are then free to hire us to help you implement that strategy or you can walk away, no strings attached, and either execute the strategy yourself or hire another team to implement it.

Our Fourth Step: Choose the PR Package That Works for You

We offer three tiers of packages designed to fit your budget and your needs. If you need more than what our packages offer, we can customize a package based on our strategy consultation.

Our Fifth Step: Your Campaign Kickoff

Once everything is in place and we’ve reached an agreement, we’ll start making pitches to our contacts and connections in media. We need you to be ready at a moment’s notice for potential guest interviews and events. If we call you, make a way to be there. The opportunity may not come your way again.

PR Campaigns Do Not Work Overnight

Please don’t expect overnight results. The focus is on building relationships.
